Summer Fun

Project: My Prismatic Scarf
Yarn: Manos-DK, 70% wool/30% silk (DC Souvenir yarn from WoolWinders)
Needles: KPOs #7s

Love the yarn, soft, supple, glowing color from the silk...the pattern...enh...i'll go another couple inches and decide if it's a keeper or not...

My knitting Mojo has turned into knitting NoGo.....every project I've started in the past month has been a disaster, frogged, etc. I started the February Lady Sweater 3 times in 3 different yarns and got about 6" into it and bleah...to the frog pond. But since I am ever so determined....I ordered more yarn (isn't that the cure for everything?) and will try a do-over with an elann.com special offer (sold out now or I'd link you!) of wool/bamboo worsted. It should be here tomorrow or Friday (Day Off Whoo!) and I'll try yet again. Until then, you just get scarves and squares.

Me and BFF MK on another "Big Walk", Summer Solstice (yep, it was pouring!). But isn't my neighbor's Mock Orange Tree a stunner!

Yummy yarn Lisa!

And that mock-Orange tree, such blossom!

I was doing a walk on the Solstice too (see my blog for details!)

Good to see ya, I'm recovering from night shift and accidentally slept wa-a-a-a-ay too long today, so I'll be up and bushy tailed for hours now. Sigh.

Oh no! FLS to the frog pond? That makes me so sad! But then again, a new yarn purchase is justifiable in this case. I can't wait to see what color you chose!

I love Mock Oranges! I can't believe how quickly you go from snowstorm to mid-summer garden. I'd never have thought Alaskan gardens would be so much more advanced than ours in June.
Didn't you get a Sweater Machine for Christmas? How's that going? ;)

I love the colors on your scarf. Which colors of the superwash bamboo did you get? Hopefully this will be a good marriage with the sweater. I wonder how the "shading" on the yarn comes out when knitted up.
